DAHCRA hosts bi-monthly membership meetings beginning in February of each year, in addition to two social events throughout the year. Membership with the Association grants an individual attendance to all membership meetings, social events, and ability to serve on the Board of Directors. Those who are not yet members but are considering joining may attend one meeting to see what we’re all about before deciding whether or not to join.
What can you expect at a membership meeting?
The bi-monthly meetings are the second Tuesday of every other month from 7:30am – 9:00am. They meetings are typically structured to accommodate a half hour of networking, followed by a 60 minute presentation by a special guest speaker. Guest speaker presentations range greatly in subject matter and have included experts from the recruitment industry who share information on data and marketplace trends, to motivational speakers from all walks of life! Breakfast is always provided.
What can you expect at a DAHCRA Social?
The bi-annual social events take place in the summer and winter. These events are hosted at various local Denver restaurant/bar hot-spots and offer members, special guests and sponsors a full two-hour networking session with complimentary food, beverages and some great prize giveaways! Top-tiered sponsors are given “stage time” to share their company’s mission with the group.
